Sugar Roll/Sugar Shake Test Kit

Easy to use varroa testing kit. Fill the jar to redline with honeybees add a few tablespoons of the provided powdered sugar and shake lightly. Then turn the container upside down and shake over a white object such as a frisbee or bucket top filled with water. Count the mites and figure the rate per 300 bees. This test provides a quick insight into varroa levels to let the keeper know if treatment is necessary.
