Thinking about getting bees this year—or already have a hive and want to feel more confident heading into the season? Our Intro to Beekeeping class series is the perfect place to start (or restart).

Designed for brand-new beekeepers and those looking for a refresher, this multi-week course walks you through the full Year in Beekeeping, giving you a solid foundation from day one all the way through common challenges you’ll face in the hive.

Class Details

  • Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

  • Cost:

    • $75 per person

    • $125 per family (2 people)

  • Includes:

    • First Lesson in Beekeeping book

      • (One book included per family)

(Year in Beekeeping – Part 3)

Pests, maladies, and common hive problems
(Year in Beekeeping – Part 4)

April 2, 2026
Tools, PPE, gizmos, and gadgets
Hands-on learning: build a frame and/or box
“My bees are coming—OH NO! What do I know?”
Continuing education, local clubs, organizations, and the Master Beekeeper Program
(Year in Beekeeping – Part 5)
