February 2026 Education Day

February 2026 Education Day

Our First Education Day of 2026 Is Here!

We’re kicking off 2026 with something we’re really excited about—our first Education Day of the year, and it’s one you won’t want to miss.

Winter can feel long for both beekeepers and bees, and knowing how (and when) to bring your hives out of winter is crucial for a strong spring buildup. That’s exactly what this day is all about.

Event Details

Speaker: Burton Beasley
Topic: Bringing Your Bees Out of Winter
Date: February 14, 2026
Time: 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM
Lunch: Provided

Burton will walk through what to look for as winter wraps up, common mistakes to avoid, and how to set your colonies up for success as temperatures start to rise. Whether this is your first winter with bees or you’ve been keeping bees for years, this session will be full of practical, real-world information you can use right away.

And of course, our education days are about more than just learning—they’re about community. Come ask questions, share experiences, and connect with other beekeepers who are just as passionate about their bees as you are.

Good to know: We host Education Days every second Saturday of the month. If there are ever any changes to dates, times, or speakers, we’ll be sure to update both our website and Facebook page.

We can’t wait to kick off the year with you and look forward to seeing you there! 🐝💛
